When Privacy is Essential: MDC-1200/GE-STAR and Encryption

Cimarron Technologies has created a unique Software-Defined Encryption™ technique that allows users to modify the encryption program to maximum levels that a system can support. This allows QuikSync™ to be used in P25, conventional, voter, repeater or trunking systems. QuikSync™ is capable of 50 hops per second with up to 1600Hz difference, an industry best. Additionally, Cimarron’s hopping code encryption and decryption algorithm retains excellent voice spectrum for clear transmissions.
